Enlisted as a Lieutenant 1st Class on 17 August 1861 at the age of 40 in Company F, 38th Infantry Regiment Ohio
Promoted to Full Adjutant on 17 February 1862 and to Full Captain on 10 December 1862
Wounded on 01 September 1864 at Jonesboro, GA died from those wounds on 10 September 1864

Annie Crosson filed for widows' pension on 3 Oct 1864 (Certificate #62284)
