Benjamin ValDeese "Dees" Bailey died 10 Mar 1896, age 64, in Baton Rogue, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana and was buried in the Baton Rouge National Cemetery there. His wife, Mae Catherine Brewer Bailey would live until 07 Oct 1990 when she died at age 84.
Together they led a full life raising their 2 children.
