Phoebe Martin Ziegler passed away peacefully on July, 24 at Passages Hospice in New Orleans, age 96. Beloved wife of the late Clarence S. Ziegler, Mother of six sons: the late Samuel Hadley, Clarence Robert (Margaret), George Martin (Nancy), Jonathan Ellis (Brenda), Ralph Stephen(Kathy), and James Lawrence(Penny) Ziegler. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Phoebe was the sister of the late Ollie Martin Talazac and the late Ellis Martin Goff. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street on Monday July 28 2014. Visitation from 9AM to 12PM, with Service beginning at 12PM, internment will follow at Cypress Grove Cemetery. The Ziegler Boys would like to say a special thank you, to the staff at Passages Hospice for their loving care and concern for their mother.
