The Reading Eagle Newspaper carried her obituary January 6, 1933. page 24. As follows:

Mrs. Mary A. Baker

Mary Ann (Hoyer), widow of Emanuel L. Baker, died last evening at the home of her son-on-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Venas Seyfert, 425 South 12 1/2 Street, at 9 o'clock. She was aged 80 years and 20 days. Deceased was a daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Paff) Hoyer. She was a member of St. Andrew's Reformed Church and Royal Order of Americans, No 4.

There survive a daughter, Estella, wife of Venas Seyfert, with whom she resided; three grandchildren; one sister and three brothers:Esther, wife of Charles Whiteman of this city; Henry Hoyer of Yellow House; Edward and Reuben Hoyer of this city.
