Miss Hudson was born in Mount Union, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hudson and in her childhood lived with her grandmother, Mrs. Maria Skinner, at Newville. She spent most her life in Newville until becoming a guest at the Todd Home in Carlisle, a year ago. She was a member of Big Spring Presbyterian Church, the Newville Civic Club, and other organizations at Newville.
The only surviving relatives are nieces and nephews in Texas.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Big Spring Church, conducted by the Rev. Paul C. Nicholson. Burial will be in the Newville Cemetery."

Maria was named after her grandmother "Maria (Brewster)" Skinner. Maria went to live with her grandmother after her mother died when she was 3 yrs old.
