Funeral services for Janice Faye Melton, 77, of Cullman will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel; Father Patrick Egan officiating; with interment in Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Melton passed away on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Canton, Ohio on Sept. 3, 1935 to Henry P. Albers and Novella Schoonover Albers. She worked for 44 years for Hayes Aircraft/Pemco. She loved crocheting, knitting and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Albers.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Earl "Mossie" Melton, Jr.; three children, Sandy (Joel) Brant, Terry (Susan) Melton and Jennifer Melton (John) Hall; five grandchildren, Kim Byess, Shana Melton (Chris) Roberts, Nathan Melton, Lauren Melton and Brian "Ty" Lipsey; three great grandchildren, Gabrielle Byess, Richard Byess and Colton Roberts; a sister-in-law, Betty Albers and a host of nieces and nephews.
