Lawrence Hill
Lawrence O. Hill, 75, Freetown R1, died at 11:50 p.m. Friday at his home after a six-month illness.
He was a retired painter.
Mr. Hill was born on December 29, 1911, ion Jackson County, the son of Thomas Hill and Ida DePugh. He had lived in Freetown for the past 10 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Windell (Shirley) Russell, Columbus; two half-sisters, Iva Sullivan, Brown County; and Veena Hornbeck, Indianapolis; and one grandchild.
He is preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Brownstown. The Rev. James Smith will officiate. Burial will be a t Houston Cemetery, Freetown.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday.
Memorials can be made to the Diabetes Association.
