George William Carroll, age 87, of Hawkinsville, Georgia died on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Cox and Rev. Jeff Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Orange Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Carroll was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of the County Line Baptist Church. He was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base and was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. George held various offices in Woodman of the World and volunteered with the AARP. He served in the WWII in the Army Air Force.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
