Gastonia ~ Annie Sue Whitesides Ferguson Rhyne, 93, was a daughter of the late Robert C. Whitesides and Mary Irene Moss Whitesides. She was preceded in death by husbands, Ralph Zadock Ferguson, A. Leonard Rhyne; daughter, Gail Ferguson Sherrill; sisters, Louise Wickstead and Sarah Hipp, one step-son, Rev. Bill Rhyne.
Sue retired from Sears as an office supervisor in the catalog department with over twenty six years of service. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, a Sunday school bible teacher, a leader and member of Circle of Peace, Hospital Visitation team, Church office volunteer for over eighteen years, a member of the Gaston Memorial Hospital Auxillary for twenty years , and a member of the American Bible Society for over sixty years. Sue was a very giving lady who loved her family and will be dearly missed.
Interment in Bethany ARP Church Cemetery.
