Rose A. Albanito, 88, formerly of Kenosha, currently of Marshfield, Wis., died on Thursday, May 4. at Three Oaks Nursing Home in Marshfield.
Born on Feb. 19, 1918, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Sisto and Lucy (Lese) DiCastri.
She attended local schools.
On May 14, 1943, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church she married John F. Albanito, Sr.
Rose lived in Kenosha until moving to West St. Paul, Minn., in 1997. She then moved to Marshfield, Wis., in 2000.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
She is survived by two sons, John F. Albanito of Kenosha and Tony Albanito of Woodberry, Minn; two brothers, Richard DiCastri of Kenosha and Louis DiCastri of Milwaukee and Florida; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband; and four brothers, James, Albert, Peter and Anthony DiCastri.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 9, at 9:15 a.m. from the Piasecki- Althaus Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1919 54th Street. Entombment will fol low in All Saints Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 8, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
