Obituary of Otis W. Webb
(1926 ~ July 22, 2014)

Gulfport, MS ~ Otis W. Webb, age 87 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, in Gulfport.

Mr. Webb had been a resident of Gulfport since 1962. He retired after 23 years in the U.S. Air Force having served in WWII and the Korean War. He then went on to serve another 13 years in Civil Service. He was a 50 year member of the St. Albans Masonic Lodge, No. 60 in Columbia, MS. He was a very active member of Kenwood Baptist Church in Gulfport, where he was very involved in the children and youth activities.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Courtney Webb; his wife, Caroline Webb; two brothers and five sisters.

Mr. Webb is survived by his children, Peter Webb and Sylvia (Joe) Scarborough all of Gulfport; his grandchildren, Scott (Heather) Wiese of Gulfport and Shawn (Kim) Wiese of Shreveport, LA and April (Johnathan) Scarborough of Gulfport; his great grandchildren, Hunter Wiese, Hanna Wiese, Nyles Wiese, Hanna Griffin, Trysten Yarborough, and Winston Cuevas; his niece, Susan Grimsley; his great nephews, Beau (Michelle) Stewart and Adam (Katie-Beth) Grimsley; his best friend and companion, Eula Mae Dedeaux & her family and his close friend, Brother Scooter Duncan.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and staff of Memorial Hospital/ICU for their loving care and support and to Brenda Corrigan for her love and support shown to his family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014, at 1pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Cemetery in Long Beach.
