Galva – Janice A. Cox 50, of 510 NW First St. Died at 10pm Saturday 27 June 1992 at her mother's home in Williamsfield.
Born on 13 Oct 1941 in Williamfield, daughter of Merle E and Betty I Mackie Gale, she married Robert L. "Bob" Cox on 25 June 1961, in Williamsfield.
He survives as well as her mother of Williamsfield; one son, James R. of Galva; one daughter, Mrs. Don (RoAnne) Edick of Chandler, AZ.; one brother, Preston Gale of Morton; and one sister June Rice of Princeville. Her father preceded her in death. She attended the former Brown's Business College in Galesburg and had worked as a meat wrapper at Jack and Jill Grocery store in Galva for the past 10 years. She was member of Williamsfield United Methodist Church. Memorial services will be on Wednesday. No visitation. Private interment of ashes will be at a later date.
