Annette was age 2 in the 1880 census with her parents in Pembroke. Her father was a farmer and at that time she had siblings Mary J, Rosetta A., and Keziah S. The grandmother Joanna (Cox) Carter age 80 was also in the household.
Annette's mother went to Massachusetts around 1885 and was still there in 1900. I could not find Annette with her to verify if she died in Boston.
