Benjamin E. Wright Jr., a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. He was 60 years of age.
The son of the late Benjamin E. and Doris Wright Sr., he was born on May 22, 1953 in Middletown, NY.
Ben retired as a heavy equipment mechanic with Auto Parts International of Middletown.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Wright, at home in Otisville; his children: Jennifer Lybolt of Missouri, MaryJo Wright of Middletown, Alysia Wright and Nicole Wright both of Otisville; three sisters, Louise Wright and her companion, Leo Lopez of Middletown, Ruth Bressi and husband, Eric of Fredericktown, OH, and Lynn Wright of Texas; four grandchildren: Michael and Gregory Lybolt, Cody VanHorn, and Benjamin Glick; his mother-in-law, Barbara LaForge of Middletown; sisters-in-law: Cynthia Bates and husband, Jeff of Coldenham, Deborah Miller and husband, Leigh of Unionville, Robyn Jones and husband, Rich of Cuddebackville; brothers-in-law: Edward LaForge and Michael LaForge both of Middletown and Mark LaForge of Matamoras, PA; his lifelong best friend, Russell "Rocky" Lazier of Otisville; his faithful pet dogs, Kiki and Benji; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Charles Wright; son Ricky Davis Jr.; father-in-law, Edward LaForge, and dog, Harley.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 8th at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY. Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. on Monday, December 9th at the funeral home; Reverend Daniel Fritzsch will officiate. Interment will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery in the Town of Wawayanda.
