She was born in Nova Scotia, Canada on April 25, 1920, the daughter of Philip and Nettie (Sparka) O’Connell. On June 6, 1942, she married Benjamin Dreffs in Onaway.
A wake service took place Jan. 2, 2004, at the Chagnon Funeral Home in Onaway. Funeral services took place on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Onaway, with the Rev. Thomas Dominiak officiating. Interment was at St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Onaway.
