Russell R. Romans, 88, of Beechwood Health Care Center in Pekin died Tuesday, March 10, 1992, at Pekin Hospital.
Born Aug. 8, 1903, in Armington to Abraham L. and LuluBelle Lancaster Romans, he married Mary Alice Smith on Aug. 20, 1924, in Delavan. She died May 27, 1989. One son, Victor, one sister and one brother also preceded him in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Lela Bright of Morton and Doris Thrush of Pekin; one son, the Rev. Virgil of Terre Haute, Ind.; one brother, Charles of Lake Wales, Fla.; and one sister, Carrie Parkhurst of Delavan.
He worked at Corn Products Co. in Pekin for 40 years, retiring in 1966.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
