He was married 1st to Margaret -- (ca 1883– ), and he was married 2nd as the 1st husband of Gladys Ione (Tucker) (Althauser) Webster (1897–1979).
A real estate broker, he was 63 years old and married when he died of a cerebral hemorrhage on April 3, 1943 at Nashville's Saint Thomas Hospital where he had been a patient for five days. Burial was two days later in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
