Linda, my older sister was the first born of three children of Roy Simpson Jackson Jr. and Iva Ruth Johnson. Linda was born in Pomona, Los Angeles Co., California while our father was at war in the Pacific Campaign of World War II. Linda was born exactly 40 weeks to the day of when our parents were married.

Linda graduated from Campbell High School of Smyrna, Cobb Co., Georgia in 1961 as an honor student. She went on afterwards and attended 4 years of college and graduated from The Women's College of Georgia in Milledgeville, Baldwin Co., Georgia. Afterwards she taught Spanish for a couple of years at Osborn High School in Marietta, Cobb Co., Georgia. Then she was employed as a reservationist for Eastern Airlines in Atlanta, Fulton Co., Georgia for 23 years from 1968 to 1991. In 1991 Eastern files chapter 11 and no longer operated as a major airlines.

Linda married Gary William Sagaert on Oct. 21, 1977 in Peachtree City, Fayette Co., Georgia. Linda and Gary were separated at the time of Linda's death. Linda was never able to have children. I am the last survivor of my immediate family.

Obituary for Linda M. Sagaert
Linda M. Sagaert, 71 of Smyrna died Sunday July 20, 2014.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday July 25,
2014 in he Jonquil Chapel of Castellaw Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the
funeral service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial
will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.

Note: I am now the last of my immediate family. I have lost both parents, my younger sister, and now my elder sister. I'm the last .................. Gigi M. Jackson
