Services in the chapel of First National Funeral Home at Oak Grove were followed by burial in Little Star Cemetery near Holum.
Survivors include six sons, Leonard Nation of Oak Grove, Melvin Nation of Jackson, Miss., Willard Nation of Kelly, James Nation of Dade City, Fla., Monroe Nation of Wisner and L. C. Nation of Winnsboro; one daughter, Mrs. Billie [sic Zellie] Wise of Montgomery; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Hall of Natchez, Miss. and Mrs. Frances Jackson of Wisner; 29 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
