Mrs. Elizabeth Sarah Ramsey died Feb. 20, 1907, at the home of her son, John P., six miles northwest of Mound City, Mo. She was born in Monroe County, West Virginia on March 3, 1827.
She married Lloyd Lively in 1842, who lived a few weeks. In 1847, she married James W. Ramsey, who died Nov. 5, 1861. Seven children were born-Clementine, Granville, Margaret, Daniel, John, Susan and James.
Funeral at the New Liberty Church and burial there.

"Mrs. Elizabeth Sarah Ramsey died at the home of her son, John P. Ramsey six miles northwest of Mound City, February 20, 1907. The deceased was born in Monroe county, West Virginia, March 3, 1827; married to Lloyd Liveley in 1842, who lived but a few weeks. In 1847 she married James W. Ramsey who died November 5, 1861. To this union seven children were born, Cementine, Granville, Margaret, Daniel, John, Susan, and James.
Mrs. Ramsey was a devoted Christian, being a member of the Christian Church, holding her membership at New Liberty.
The funeral services were conducted at New Liberty Church Friday by Rev. Spickerman. The remains were laid to rest in the church cemetery at New Liberty. Jeffersonian."
