The death of Mrs. Arthur Henry occurred Sunday evening at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George Probst in East Alton, following an illness of nineteen months. Before her marriage the deceased was Miss Lucinda Blair of this vicinity, where she was well known.
Funeral services were held in East Alton, Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. G. Calvert of the M. E. church officiating. The funeral party then motored to Medora, where burial took place in the Rhoads cemetery, east of this village.
The deceased is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. George Probst and Mrs. Raymond Hunt, of East Alton; also four brothers, H. A. Blair and Charles Blair of Grafton, Edward and George Blair of Granite City.
