Joseph Michael Cimino, 91, of Fairmont died Thursday evening July 17, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Fairmont on October 22, 1922 son of the late Sam and Sarafina Tallerico Cimino.

Joe retired from Owens Illinois glass plant. He was a member of the Marian Council 942 Knights of Columbus and the V.F.W. Post 629. He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Army during W.W.II

He is survived by his wife Marlyn Hansford Cimino, step-children Michael Booth and Marlana Booth both of Fairmont. He is also survived by two step-grandchildren Shawna McClaflin of Coal Center, PA and Risha Kelley of Oregon and five step-great grandchildren Elsa, Ila, Niamh, Conlin and Alina, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents he in preceded in death by his first wife Jessie Willey Cimino and brothers and sisters Louis, Frank, Joe Cimino, Carrie Stingo, Mary Bane, Helen Gallucci, Jennie McCready, Rose Belcastro and two at infancy.

Friends may call at Ross Funeral Home 801 Fairmont Avenue Fairmont on Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8:00 P.M. with a vigil service at 7:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday July 21, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Fr. Robert A. Perriello as celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Full military honors will be conducted at the cemetery.
