Died at the home of Joseph Lindsey where she had made her home. June 1st she submitted to an operation for cancer in a Buffalo hospital, without obtaining relief. She had been confined to her bed for seven weeks.

She had been a resident of Darien Center for 27 years.

Survived by five brothers, Frank and George Acquard of Buffalo, Joseph Acquard of Bennington, Charles Acquard of Lake City, Minn., and Eugene Acquard of Darien.

Funeral was held in Lancaster and burial too place in the cemetery at that place.
