ESTHER J. (LAMARCA) PALILLO

Esther J. (LaMarca) Palillo, 87, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Wednesday April 9, 2008 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY.
Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Carl and Helen (Recca) LaMarca.
On September 17, 1941 she married Valentino B. Palillo at St. Joseph's Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Palillo predeceased her on May 21, 2000.
Esther was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1938. She was employed as a secretary at the Carborundum Company in Niagara Falls during World War II, and afterwards Moore Business Forms and the former Grant's Department Store both also in Niagara Falls. Esther was a longtime devout member of St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and baking.
Mrs. Palillo is survived by two children; Fred Carl Palillo of Niagara Falls, NY; and Debra Marie Palillo of Honolulu, HI; one sister Kathleen A. (late Salvatore) Luna of San Diego, CA; her nephew and niece Carl and Jeanne Luna of San Diego, CA as well as several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call on Friday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 468 19TH STREET, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Saturday April 12th at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Robert J. Hora officiating.
Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls NY.
