GLADE was born January 3,1922, in Salt Lake City,Utah.

GLADE was preceded in death by his wife GRACE REBECCA ROBERTSON, Father ROSS LEO HARRISON, Mother HORTENSE STEEL, Brother ROSS HARRISON,Sister MAXINE HARRISON.

GLADE graduated from Granite High School in Salt Lake City,Utah and attended the University of Utah.

GLADE married GRACE REBECCA ROBERTSON in the Salt Lake Temple September 24,1943. They were blessed with seven children:

ROBERT HARRISON, of Layton,Utah,

JANE HARRISON of Toquerville,Utah,

JIM (BARBARA) HARRISON of Toquerville,Utah,

PATRICIA JOHSON (VAN) North Logan,Utah,

REBECCA HUDSON (DOUG) Fielding, Utah,

FRANK,Las Vegas,Nevada,

DAVID (DANIELLE) St.George,Utah.

GLADE was also blessed with 17 grandchildren and
45 great-grandchildren, each of whom he dearly LOVED.

As a young married couple they moved to Los Angeles and then Bakersfield,California with his employment.

They settled in Brigham City,Utah where they were Self Employed owning a children's store and pre-nursery School.

While living there he was HONORED to become the present of the Brigham City Kiwanis Club as well as the President of the Brigham City-Tremonton Board of Realtors.

GLADE loved the LDS Church as well as his family and he had a solid Testimony of the Gospel. GLADE was active in the Church all his life.

GLADE held many callings in both his wards and Stakes:

GLADE served on the High Council in four different STAKES: Brigham City North, Heber City Stake, Park City Utah, and the La Verkin,Utah Stake.

GLADE and GRACE serviced three years in the St.George Temple. They also served a Senior Mission in the San Jose Northern California Mission.GLADE was an avid golfer, fisherman and University of Utah Fan.

GLADE loved Southern Utah and its people, where they retired after leaving Park City,Utah.

GLADE was a loving Father,Husband, Grandpa,Friend and Outstanding example to all he met.

GLADE STEEL HARRISON,92,passed away on July 10,2014.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 18,2014, at 11:00a.m. at the Toquerville Chapel,63 North Toquerville Blvd.,Toquerville,Utah.

A viewing will be held prior to the Services from 9:00-10:30a.m. also at the Chapel.

Interment will follow the Funeral at the Toquerville City Cemetery.
