Funeral service for Mrs. Charlotte Cake, 72, of Alexander City, will be Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Clyde Coker will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cake passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014 at Russell Medical Center. She was born on March 14, 1942 in Alexander City, Alabama to George Thomas McClellan and Evie Bell Smith McClellan.
Mrs. Cake was a member of Alexander City Methodist Church. Mrs. Cake loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching Auburn Football, going to the beach, and line dancing.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Goodson of Eufaula; sister, Patricia Ballard of Alexander City; and grandchildren, Lindsey Hughes and Leandra Goodson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandchild, Jayde Hughes.
