CHARLIE E. BOHANAN, age 83, of Dandridge, TN, formerly of Knoxville, TN passed away October 9, 2011 after a long illness with Alzheimer's. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Owen Bohanan; son, Mickey; and daughter, Kathy; father and mother; and sisters, Blanche, Vola and Ruth. He is survived by his sons, Terry, Larry, Fred Bohanan; daughters, Sandy Easterday, Vickie Bailey and Susan McDonald; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Wilmae Holbert; brothers, Walter, Wylie and Willie Bohanan; several nephews, nieces and special mention to Betty, who held a special place in his heart because she always claimed to be his favorite. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Troy Duncan officiating. Interment graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Lakeside Cemetery, Parrotts Chapel Road, Sevierville, TN. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
