~ POEMS ~

A light from our family is gone
A voice we loved is stilled
A place is vacant in the home
Which never can be filled

We have to mourn the lost of one
We would've loved to keep
But God who surely loved her best
As he finally made her sleep
After a lifetime of her love and joy
And music to fill our ears
God leaves us with these wonderful memories
To help us with these tears

Love, Mom and Dad

Every time that we smile,

Every time that we sigh,

We'll think of your face

And a tear will escape our eyes.

You were our world,

Our inspiration and our heart,

But when you left us

We thought we would fall apart.

You were our friend,

Our true confidante

And that's not all you were

You were also our mom.

We didn't want to live without you,

But you would have wanted us to,

And if there's anyone we want to make happy,

That anyone is you.

Love, Your sons and daughters

A wife, a mother, a grandma too,

This is the legacy we have from you.

You taught us love and how to fight,

You gave us strength, you gave us might.

A stronger person would be hard to find,

And in your heart you were always so kind.

You fought for us in all in one way or another,

And not just as a wife and not just as a mother.

For your grandchildren you gave your best,

Now the time has come for you to rest.

So go in peace, you've earned your sleep

Love, Your Grandchildren
