She was married to Ernest Claud, Sr. until his passing in 1990. Mrs. Claud was a member of Pleasant Plain Baptist Church, was a member of the Usher Board, Hospitality Ministry, Senior Choir, Women’s Ministry and the Missionary Ministry. She was also a member of the Antioch #72 Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
Left to cherish her memories are three daughters; three sons; five sisters, eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, many other relatives and friends.
Wake was held from 11:00 AM-8:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home. A homegoing service was held at Noon on Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Pleasant Plain Baptist Church, 11069 Old Belfield Road, Drewryville, Virginia with the pastor, Reverend Carlton A. Powell as eulogist.
