FISHER, Alberta M. – of Flint, age 88, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, Pastor Gary L. Beck officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-3 and 5-8 PM Tuesday and 10 AM until the time of service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Alberta was born in Flint, MI on November 9, 1925, daughter of the late Carl and Gertrude (Eckley) Boegner. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and UAW Local # 651. Alberta retired from A/C Spark Plug after 30 years of service in 1976. She was a great Bingo player and loved to play poker with her friends.

Alberta is survived by her daughters, Debbie Heavner, Kathleen VanderMey; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great- grandchildren; sisters, Elsie Watts, Evelyn Kelley, Janet Adams; brothers, Joe, Norm and Eugene Boegner; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ernie and Wayne. The family would like to give a special thank you to Sue from Reverance Hospice.
