Bedell, Robert Lee "bob", 79, of Jeffersonville, IN, In the early morning of July 12, 2014, Robert Lee Bedell boarded the Heavenly Train. With Jesus as the conductor, he traveled peacefully enjoying the sound of the train on the tracks.

Robert served our Lord, proudly served our country in the United States Air Force, and worked 40 years on the railroad.

He will be greeted at the final station by his parents, Thelma and Orvall Bedell; aunt and uncle, Kenneth and Ethel Perry; brothers, Art and Kenneth Bedell; his daughter, Cynthia Bedell; mother-in-law, Venice Kunnecke and her husband, Franklin Kunnecke.

He will watch over those who will miss him dearly: his beloved wife of 60 years, Melva Kunnecke Bedell; sons, Robert F. Bedell (Tammy) and Scott Bedell (Karen); daughter, Anna Bedell. He loved all eight of his grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Scott Funeral Home, with burial to follow at New Chapel Cemetery.
