Simon H. Sparling , 79, of Warminster, formerly of Philadelphia, died Dec. 10 at Warminster General Hospital.
Before his retirement in 1973, Mr. Sparling had been employed by the Millprint Co. as a color matcher for about 23 years.
He is survived by his wife, Grace G. McBride Sparling ; two sons, Robert H. and Jack; two daughters, Barbara J. Maier and Grace D. Kinkade; two brothers, two sisters and 14 grandchildren.
The funeral was Dec. 14 at Wetzel-White Funeral Home of Willow Grove.
Interment was in Greenmount Cemetery in Philadelphia.
