NEW BEDFORD ~ Eunice E. (Winslow) Jenkins, 68 of Rochester died Tuesday September 12, 2000 in St. Luke's Hospital. She was the widow of Donald F. Jenkins who died in 1995.
Born in Acushnet, daughter of the late Kenneth and Olive B. (Phipps) Winslow, she lived in Rochester all of her life.
Mrs. Jenkins graduated from Wareham High School. She was employed as a substitute librarian for the Joseph Plumb Public Library in Rochester where she served as trustee. She was also a member of the Rochester Historical Society.
Survivors include sisters, Carol Lawrence of Rochester and Sherley Zeller of Hyrum Utah; two brothers Kenneth W. Winslow, Jr. of Freetown and Maitland G. Winslow of Rochester.
Her memorial service will be held at 1 PM Saturday September 23rd in the North Rochester Congregational Church. Burial will be private in Rochester Cemetery. Arrangements are by Stott, Chapman and Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry. Highway (Route 28) Wareham.
Visiting hours have been omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Rochester Congregational Church, Bell Tower Fund, North Avenue in Rochester or to the Joseph Plumb Library, P. O. Box 69 Rochester Massachusetts.
