Services for Winston Crowell were held in the Harrison Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Mr. Crowell was a U.S. Navy veteran and was unmarried. He was living with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.B. Crowell. Mr. Crowell was a Seymour oil field worker. He was using a "sticker' rod from a well he was cleaning and came in contact with a high-tension wire. Survived by his parents; two sisters - Mrs. Aubrey Akridge, and Mrs. Herbert Dunn; two brothers - Burnett Crowell, and Raymond Crowell.
