Winn Funeral
Conducted Monday


Mrs. Emma Etta Winn, mother if Mrs. Earl Hohenshelt, died Saturday morning at her home, 312 East Cedar, following a long illness.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Littrell-Scroggins Funeral home chapel with Rev. J. W. Oden officiating.

Mrs. Winn was born December 29, 1859 in Brazos, Texas and came to Western Oklahoma in 1886 where she homesteaded with her husband five miles east of Sayre.

She had been a member of the Methodist church for many years.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Pearl Hohenshelt of Sayre, Mrs. Luella Lyles of Vernon, Tex., Mrs. Joanna Allen of Altus, Mrs. Maude Renfro of McFarland, Calif., and four sons, W. T. of Elk City, Bob of Big Springs, Tex., Owen of Sayre and Jack of Sliver City, N. Mex. One brother, Wiley Ellison of Snyder, also survives.

Committal was in the Sayre-Doxey cemetery.

Bearers were J. L. Edgecomb, Oscar Ewton, Dewey Dodson, Dewey Foster, Tom Flournoy and J. F. Bryan.
