Funeral rites for Mrs. Belle Eliza Williams, 70 years old, wife of John W. Williams, were held at 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Kleinsmith Funeral Home, with Rev. E. C. Bosse officiating. Burial was in Fair Haven cemetery.
Mrs. Williams passed away at 1:45 o'clock Friday afternoon at the family home, after an extended illness.
She was born at Stockwell, Ind., April 20, 1870, the daughter of John and Nancy (Campbell) Russell. She was married to John W. Williams on November 27, 1895. She had lived her entire life in Clinton and Tippecanoe counties. A member of the Mulberry Methodist church and of the local chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, she was active in both organizations as long as her health would permit.
Survivors, besides her husband, are two sons, Dale Williams of South Bend and Ross K. Williams of Kokomo; three daughters, Mrs. M. L. Vogel of Indianapolis, and Mrs. M. E. Kleinsmith and Mrs. Maurice Ruch, both of Mulberry. She also leaves four grandchildren, one brother, Frank Russell of Stockwell, and two sisters, Mrs. Arped Bartholomew of Stockwell and Mrs. Nettie Taylor of Indianapolis.
