Our mother, Emma Dean Glenn, 87, passed from us into the arms of her dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 23, 2015. She had a long and hard battle against disease but no more.
Her father and mother, Van and Emma Sturrock, had died a number of years ago. Also her husband, Nemmie Glenn had died last year.

She is survived by her two children, her son Thomas Lloyd Bell and wife Patricia; and her daughter Melinda Bell Cook and husband Rufus. Also she had four grandchildren Kathryn Hope Cook, Christopher Stuart Bell, Nicholas Andrew Bell, and Jennifer Lauren Bell and four great grandchildren Ayden Chase Bell, Emma Rose Bell, MacKenzie Shuff, Tristin Bell and Brooklynn Bell, each of whom was dear and precious to her, and many friends and family.

A scripture that seems to summarize our mom’s testimony is Psalms 62:1-2 “Truly my soul silently waits for God; from Him comes my salvation, He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly shaken.”

Services will be 10:00 am Friday June 26, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
