Frank Goddard Everett was born in Ogden, Utah to John Edward and Erma Williams Goddard Everett on September 24, 1924.

He married Kathryn Burton in the Salt Lake Temple on August 15, 1944. Three days later, he began his service in the South Pacific Theatre during WWII.

He graduated from South High School, LDS Business College, and the University of Washington School of Executive Development.

His career spanned thirty-two years in the Savings and Loan industry.

He was tireless in his service to his church which included many years of temple service. Upon retirement, he shared his creations in wood with family and friends-supplies often gathered from his beloved family cabin.

His character was defined by his integrity, gentle nature, and endearing sense of humor. To Frank, everyone was a friend. He lived a life of dedicated service to God, country, and family. He was our anchor in a world of shifting values.

He is survived by Kathryn, his wife of seventy years; children, Carolyn (Terry) Smith, Jim (Sally), David, and Rebecca (Don) Reese; twenty grandchildren; forty-nine great-grandchildren; brother, Albert; and sister, Joanne Gardner. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Norman; sister, Lucille Liddle; grandson, Andrew Kontgis; and great-granddaughter, Morgan Wagner.

A viewing will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, and one hour prior to the services at the church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Emigration Fourth Ward Chapel, 589 18th Avenue.
