George Barenthin, 61, of 2032 3rd Ave., East Moline, died Tuesday in Moline Public Hospital.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Chapman Funeral Home, Wheatland, Iowa, with Rev. Edgar J. Otto of St. John's Lutheran Church, East Moline, officiating. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
Mr. Barenthin was born in Yorktown.
Until retiring he was a carpenter for International Harvester, East Moline.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Erwin Mier and Mrs. Florence Licht, both of Lowden, Iowa, and Mrs. Emil Earlandson, Racine, Wis., and five brothers, Albert, Philo, Lawrence, Davenport, Marvin, LaCrosse, and Harold and Ferdinand, both of Wheatland.
