George Leddra 85, of 545 Dickemery Drive died Feb. 24 at Akron General Medical Center after a month's illness. He had worked at B.F. Goodrich
He was born in St. Ives, Cornwall and had been a resident of Akron for 58 years, he was a member of the Church of Our Saviour and a former Choir Member there for 35 years. He was also a Past Chief Ranger of the Independent Order of Forestors, Court Loyal 300.
He is survived by daughters, Mrs. Lola Coates of Akornk, O. Mrs. Peggy Slaughter of Seminola, Fl. grandson John Slaughter III, of Bellevue, Neb. 3 great grandsons.

Elsie Lola Leddra born March 30, 1918 in Penzance, Cornwall died Feb 13, 1999 Largo, Florida, she married 21 Sept 1940 to Harry Charles Coates born Aug 16, 1915 inn Manlius, New York, he died Dec 6, 1991 Akron Ohio His parents; William P. Coates and Maude M. VanDooser.
Esther Peggy Leddra born May 30, 1921 Akron, Ohio. married July 22, 1941 Akron, Ohio to Jack Bernard Slaughter born 16 Aug. 1920 Akron, Ohio. His parents; John B. Slaughter and Beulah Vellwnoweth. Her second husband; Leo Arthur Wise married in 1980 Akron Ohio.

Hetty is my direct line of Jefferys from Penzance to Akron Ohio.
She was my Great grandmother's sister.
