A.B. Allums, 68, of Bagley died Feb. 7, 1998, at his home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at New Temple Baptist Church with burial in New Horizon Memorial Gardens in Dora. The body will be at the church from 1 until 2 p.m. Monday. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 6 until 9 p.m. today.

He was a veteran U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ira L. and Ruth Allums, and brother, Kenneth L. Allums.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Allums; one son, Steve Allums and his wife, Donna, of Corner; two sisters, Joann Stanley of Hiram, Ga. and Eulala Merritt of Powder Springs, Ga.; four brothers, Harold Allums of Warrior, Robert Allums of Bagley, Jim Allums of Hueytown and Ron Allums of Corner; two grandchildren, Nicolas and Natalie Allums of Corner; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The family requests that memorials be made to The New Temple Baptist Church Building Fund, 4501 Greathouse Road, Dora, Ala. 35062.
