Pattie Curd (Howell) Pollard was born on August 18, 1872 in Davidson County, Tennessee, the daughter of Morton Boyte Howell (1834-1909) and Bettie (Curd) Howell (1848-1931), who was one of Morton's 3 wives.

She was married on December 10, 1891 in Nashville to William Cowels "Will" Pollard (1869–1961), the son of Judge William Mebane Pollard (1843–1922) and his wife Susie ( -- ) Pollard (ca 1846– ).

Pattie was 70 years old and married when she died of a cerebral thrombosis on February 27, 1943 at home on Belle Meade Blvd in Belle Meade. Burial was March 1st in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
