That more than likely was her grandfather, Alfred Greaves Crews. More than likely her birth year is in error and should be listed as 1925.

BABE DIES OF BURNS STANFORD


Stepping backward while playing in the kitchen of her home, Pauline, 18-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Crews, of near Bradfordsville, fell into a pan of hot water that had been left momentarily on the floor and was so severely burned she died a few hours later in her mother's arms.


The Interior Journal from Stanford, Kentucky newspaper published on Wed. Sep 8, 1926 · Page 3, listed a very similar story listing Pauline as being 18 months old also.
