Born on April 30, 1951, at Logan, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Herman and Anna Mae McGee Mounts.
Dorothy was a homemaker and a Skelton resident for the past 10 years. She was a former resident of Rhodell, W.Va.
Dorothy was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Mounts, and by two sisters, Alta Mounts and Virgie Mounts.
Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her companion, Alvin Salmon of Beckley; a sister, Sharon Mounts of Mullens, W.Va., and several nieces and nephews are also among her survivors.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel on Saturday November 26, 2011, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Charles McKinney Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Agee Cemetery at Egeria, W.Va.
