Rosemond Carpenter 79, of New Bedford, Massachusetts, died on Friday, July 4, 2014 at Deacon Medical Center in Boston.
Rosemond was born in Dover, New Hampshire on September 8, 1935 in to the late Adelard and Bertha (Noel) Fredette. She enjoyed shopping, playing bingo and going to the beach. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Rosemond was predeceased by her parents, by her husband George W. Carpenter, son, George R. Carpenter, daughter, Cheryl Lynn Carpenter, two brothers, Robert Fredette and Valmore Fredette and a sister, Sharon Fredette.
Surviving are a son, David Carpenter and his wife Corinna of New Bedford, Massachusetts, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Doris J. Watson and her husband George of Sanford, Janet R. Bickford of Belmont, NH, Irene Carter of Alfred and Lois M. Vermette and husband Rollie of Springvale; a brother, Richard Fredette and Kim of Shapleigh and several nieces and nephews.
Interment with committal prayers will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, July 18th at St. Ignatius Cemetery located on Berwick Road in Sanford.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service.
