Second child (of 10) and eldest son of Benjamin Seale and Margarett {Olson} Seale of St Lucy Parish, Barbados

Brother of Frances, Olive, Jane, William, Richard, Michael, Sarah Anne, Joseph, and Matthew

James Johnson Seale and Sarah Butcher were married in Barbados on May 13 1789

He died aged 56 years, and was buried in Saint Lucy Parish Churchyard on April 14, 1824
