Peggy dedicated her life to the three things she loved the most, her family, her friends, and her flowers. She loved to spend time in her flower
garden and on her porch watching the hummingbirds. She was an avid sports fan of Lady Vols basketball and the Atlanta Braves. She was a member of
Birchwood Baptist Church. Her greatest joy was seeing her husband James accept Jesus Christ as his personal savior.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents Cleo and Violet Campbell and her brother Doug Campbell. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years,
James Delashmitt; sister Tricia Roark; children Teena Wells (Bill), Terry Delashmitt (Carlene) and Jeff Delashmitt (Debbie); grandchildren, Josh,
Jake, Nathan, Alison, Austin, Katie, Cayla, Tiffany, Rachael, Jordan, Cade, and Connor; great grandchildren Avery, Capri, and Campbell.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:30pm Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Birchwood Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 3:30 with David Delmotte officiating. Burial will follow at 4:00 at Johnston Cemetery.
