Obituary published in The Lima News, (Lima, Ohio) August 2, 1942, page 4, reads "Funeral services will be held Friday at --aver Chapel on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Isaac Jackson Gallihugh, 80, lifelong resident of Mercer Co who died at the county home Friday morning following an illness of complications. Survivors are five sons, Dillon Gallihugh of Celina, Dale Gallihugh in the United States Army, Odie Gallihugh of Ausmenia, Ira Gallihugh of Midland, Mich., and Orman Gallihugh of Battle Creek, Mich.; four daughters, Mrs. Lenore Boniface of Lima, Mrs. Gary Gilleary of Celina, Mrs. Clyde Perkins of Plain Well, Mich., and Mrs. Arley Walling of Manton, Mich., and one step-daughter, Mrs. Ernest Truesdale of M---n, Mich. Burial in Swamp College Cemetery."
