Mrs. Lorene White Hogan, 85, of Trumann, Rt. 1, died Saturday at Methodist Hospital of
Jonesboro. The widow of L.M. "Jack" Hogan, Sr., who died in 1981. She was a member
of the Needham Baptist Church.
Surviving are 4 sons, Gene Hogan of Bay, and Bill Hogan, Jack Hogan, Jr., and Curtis Hogan
all of Jonesboro; 3 daughters, Laverne Stephens of Mira Loma, CA, and Doris Moon and Betty
Haag of Trumann; 3 sisters, Ethel Foshee of Payneway, Velva Mudd of Battle Creek, MI, and
Hazel Buckmaster of Pendleton, OR. She was preceeded in death by one son, Thad Hogan in 1976.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday morning at 10am in the Needham Baptist Church, with
Jewel McCrackin officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery, with
grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 this evening at Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro,
which has charge of arrangements.
