Ethel Marie Bowton, 97, of Canton passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born in Fairview on Oct. 3, 1916, to John H. and Mable J. (Baughman) Abbadusky. She married Roscoe J. Bowton on Aug. 19, 1937.
Surviving are five children, Joyce (Bob) Dixon of Colorado, Lois (Gordon) Lock of Fairview, John Bowton of Canton, Rosetta Shrock of Indianapolis and Vickie (Mark) Tomich of Canton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son, Frederick Eugene; grandson, Buzz VonAch; brother, Wayne L. Abbadusky; and sister, Edith Anderson.
As a graduate of Graham Hospital School of Nursing, she was a registered nurse, working private duty before retiring.
Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery in Canton.
